Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Beaches Green Market takes over Penman Park and turns it into a lively hub where you can find fresh food and beverages, local artisans and a sense of community. For the locals here in Jacksonville Beach, this farmers market has become a staple where you can find things like in-season goods, locally grown produce, self-grown plant items, and so much more.
Each weekend, you’ll discover new vendors selling at the Beaches Green Market and some of them might be set up for the very first time. Jessica Meyer, the market’s manager, says, they are always looking for new vendors, specifically local specialties that can be found in the Jacksonville area.
What makes the Beaches Green Market unique is its vibrant community atmosphere. It’s a great pastime for Saturday mornings, as you can meet local vendors face-to-face, and learn more about the items you’d like to purchase. Vendors continue to rave about the relaxed vibe that comes from the Beaches Green Market. There are items for everyone, as you’re able to try brand new products you’ve never heard of while simultaneously supporting the local economy.
The Beaches Green Market is an amazing weekend tradition that continues to grow and highlights the great people and products of Jacksonville Beach.
