Producer – Madison Roberts is a senior multimedia journalism student with a minor in film studies. This past summer she interned as a News Reporter for WJCT 89.9 FM. Currently, she is the Station Manager for UNF’s Spinnaker Radio 95.5 LPFM. On her free time, she is an audio engineer assisting with student podcasts. She hopes to put the skills she has gained in broadcast journalism to good use when she graduates in Spring 2020.
Multimedia Journalist – Jessica Volz is majoring in communication with a focus on multimedia journalism. Her passion for media, combined with her creativity has helped her reporting skills for Inside Jacksonville. She has been able to grow her own cosmetic client base by incorporating digital platforms to reach potential audiences. She is currently interning for Spinnaker Media as a reporter.
Multimedia Journalist – Taylor Smiley is a senior majoring in multimedia journalism with a double minor in marketing and sport management. Taylor’s completed internships from video editing and production, to media and marketing with a successful ABA team. She is currently a journalism intern at the Florida Times-Union. And in her free time she enjoys creating content for her personal endeavors.
Multimedia Journalist – Isaiah Jenkins is originally from Long Island, New York. He is a senior multimedia journalism student with a minor in sports management and sports recreation & tourism. When he’s not spending his free time being a sports fan and audio engineer, Isaiah is interning with the Jacksonville Sharks editing video elements and conducting player/coach interviews. Outside of being a freelance recording artist and developing stories, his main goal is to achieve a position at a sports broadcasting or networking company.
Multimedia Journalist – Conner Sweeney is majoring in multimedia journalism with a focus in radio and television. He recently was an intern for Adrenaline Films and worked as a Production Assistant. He hopes to gain more experience in storytelling and television production through Inside Jacksonville.
Multimedia Journalist – Doriel Gale-Corley is a broadcast journalism student with hopes of becoming a news reporter. She is interning with WJXT this semester. She enjoys learning new things and adapting to new environments. Doriel knows that her experience with Inside Jacksonville and other journalism courses will help land her dream job.
Multimedia Journalist – Cameron Rogers is a senior multimedia journalism student with a minor in literature. Currently, she is an editorial intern for Jacksonville Magazine. She loves to read, write, and spend time with her family and be outside. She hopes to use the skills she learns from her time at UNF and with Inside Jacksonville to become a good storyteller, and follow that wherever it takes her.
Multimedia Journalist – Valeria Rodriguez is a student at the University of North Florida majoring in journalism and political science. For the last three years, she has been working on public opinion research for the Political Science Department at UNF. Valeria was born in Colombia and is an international student at her school. This means that she is very eager to meet new people and learn about new cultures. That is why she volunteers at the Latin American Student Organization in her school, where she oversees public relations.
Multimedia Journalist – Troy Hollinger is from Jacksonville, Florida. He is pursuing a degree in communications with a focus in multimedia journalism. He enjoys covering stories involving sports and law. His goal after graduation is to pursue a career in law using the skills learned throughout his communication studies.
Multimedia Journalist – Bruce Hope is a communication major with a concentration in broadcast journalism. His senior year has him anxious and ready to pursue a career in sports media, primarily through radio and television. He hosts a weekly podcast called The Format. He served in the US Army, where he excelled as an information technology Soldier. These experiences have taught him to work well in both team and individual assignments to create the best possible outcome.
Multimedia Journalist – Victoria Reed is a communication student. She loves creating engaging and valuable content through writing, photography and video. Her top skills are filming and editing using single and multiple cameras and professional audio equipment. Her goal is to create writings, photographs and videos that are meaningful, effective and thought provoking.
Multimedia Journalist – Crystal Harrison is from Middleburg, Florida. She is a senior multimedia journalism student. She enjoys photography and capturing the moments that bring joy to others. She currently serves as a photographer for Rise Up YC. And interns with the Communications Department of the First Coast YMCA. After Graduation, she wants a career that will combine her creative skills and her desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Multimedia Journalist – Kayla Hartigan is from Central Valley, New York. She is a multimedia journalism student with a minor in film. She is currently interning with First Coast YMCA in the Marketing and Communications Department. She likes to read, watch movies, and spend time with her family and dogs. After she graduates in December, she plans on moving back to New York and putting her degree to use.
Multimedia Journalist – Gabby Parzygnat is from Orlando, Florida. She moved to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida. She is a senior Multimedia Journalism student and one of the Anchors for Inside Jacksonville. She is a cultural, travel and music focused journalism student who plans to incorporate all those elements in a future career.
