Olivia Batchelor is a senior at the University of North Florida (UNF), majoring in Multimedia Journalism with a strong passion for social media and sports marketing. During her internship with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp Baseball team, she wrote a feature story and honed her skills in using social media to boost team engagement. In her free time, Olivia cherishes moments spent with her beloved cat. 

Kara Carter is a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in multimedia journalism. Shehas interned at Folio Weekly Magazine and now works for the publication. She aspires to be a fashion journalist for bigger magazines like Vogue, i-D, and Interview magazine. In her free time she enjoys writing in her blog, baking, and browsing antique markets.

Skylar Catherwood is a junior at the University of North Florida majoring in multimedia
journalism and minoring in marketing. Skylar plans to persue a career as a sideline reporter for
collegiate or professional football. Skylar interned at 1010XL Jax Sports Radio in the Spring of 2024. During her time at the station she wrote promotions for local businesses, profiles for NFL draft prospects, voiced and edited promotions. Additionally, she interned at the Jacksonville Sharks for their 2024 season. During her time at the Sharks, she created game day hype videos, wrote player profiles and game day PBPs and did post game interviews with the head coach.

Dominic Dacunto is a senior at the University of North Florida, majoring in communication with a focus in journalism. He is currently working on a senior project which is an investigative
journalism article on the prevalence of homelessness in Jacksonville. He also has experience in
marketing and management after his completion of a management internship with PepsiCo in
2022. He aspires to land a position as a political correspondent or automotive journalist.

Alexa Gonzalez is a senior graduating in Fall of 2024 from UNF with a degree in Communication with a concentration in Multimedia Journalism, and a minor in Political Science. Her writing focuses range from political news and social justice issues to community engagement and pop culture. She has been published in Jacksonville Magazine as a writing intern, has held multiple leadership positions in her sorority, Alpha Phi, and works part time as the Assistant Director
of UNF’s Lend-A-Wing Food Pantry.

Isabella Lavorgna is a University of North Florida senior majoring in Multimedia Journalism and minoring in Marketing. Isabella has a love for editing and writing and is excited to be working in television production for her final semester internship. Her hobbies include going to the beach, taking long walks with her dog, and snowboarding in the winter. After graduation she hopes to gain experience in the news room and expand her writing.

Cha-Yil Mitchell is a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in communications with a
concentration in multimedia journalism. In her spare time, Cha-Yil enjoys basketball and football. In addition to enjoying sports, she also enjoys creating sports content for her social media accounts. It is her ambition to build a career in sports media as a reporter and content creator.

Kyle Railey is a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in multimedia journalism with minors in social media and leadership. Kyle’s goal is to complete his bachelor’s degree at the University of North Florida and get a master’s degree in a related field back in his hometown of Savannah, GA. He also wants to share stories of immigrant and their origin, believing it is important to understand where people come from and what makes them who they are.

Kelila Ritchie is a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in Communication with a focus in multimedia journalism. She is also minoring in African American Studies. Kelila’s dedication to being a voice for marginalized communities has spearheaded her desires to be a broadcast journalist. She has gained experience in the journalism world while writing for Intersect Magazine, FolioWeekly and WJCT. In her free time, she tries to soak up the sun as much as she can. 

Sydney Teitelbaum is a University of North Florida senior majoring in Multimedia Journalism. After beginning her college education at Florida Gulf Coast University studying Communications, in her freshman and sophomore years, she transferred to UNF and served as Spinnaker Media’s Police Reporter in the Spring of 2024. She completed her senior internship during the summer of 2024 with Jacksonville Magazine where she was able to put her skills to the test while writing about events occurring in the city of Jacksonville, among specific brands centered in Florida. Her B.S. is expected in December of 2024. 

Giovanny Villavicencio is a senior at the University of North Florida majoring in Communications with a focus on Multimedia Journalism. His career aspiration is to become a news anchor for a tv station or a writer for a magazine. He is also part of the UNF Navigators campus ministry. When he is not studying, Giovanny can be found playing video games, viewing the sunrise, hanging out with his friends, and watching soccer.
