GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla.– Food Truck Friday in Green Cove Springs is a staple to the community and has been for the last seven years. What started out as a small gathering of Green Cove locals erupted into a crowd favorite in the heart of the city. The function was founded by Edward Gaw in 2017 as a way to bring entertainment, enjoyment, relaxation, and pleasure to the community of Green Cove. The event takes place on the first Friday of the month from March to November. Between 5 to 9 PM, locals numbered in the thousands gather to Spring Park in Green Cove to experience the scenic views of the St. Johns River, live music from the Northeast Florida region, a rotating selection of neighborhood food trucks with a variety of flavors and preferences, and a beautiful scenic atmosphere on the water. Coolers containing beer and wine are permitted on the property as well, as long as they are consumed close to the band’s stationed pavilion. Gaw and company work hard to provide gripping entertainment and satisfying food each month for Green Cove and Jacksonville locals to enjoy.
