In the surf scene along Florida’s Atlantic coast, two young athletes are quickly becoming names to know. Jay and Everett Weyer, brothers from Jacksonville, have been carving waves since early childhood—and their journey is gaining momentum with each competition.

Now 14 and 10, the Weyer brothers have immersed themselves in the world of competitive surfing. With years of experience already under their belts, they’ve progressed from local beach breaks to national contests, building a strong presence in the Eastern Surfing Association and beyond.

Their progress is the result of relentless dedication. Whether it’s early morning surf sessions before they start school or weekend road trips to chase the best swells, the brothers have embraced a routine that blends discipline with a deep love for the sport. Regular coaching and consistent training have helped them hone their technique, preparing them for the increasingly competitive field.

Jay’s recent selection for an elite surf development program ESA All-Stars opened doors to train and surf in Hawaii—an experience that marked a major milestone in his growing career. Meanwhile, Everett continues to impress judges and fellow surfers with his fearless approach and natural style.

What sets the Weyer brothers apart isn’t just talent—it’s their unwavering support for one another. As siblings, they push each other to improve while sharing the highs and lows of competitive life. That family bond seems to fuel their momentum, keeping their focus grounded and their motivation high.

With a strong foundation and a clear passion for the sport, the Weyer brothers are on track to make a lasting impact on the world of surfing. Despite the competitions and accolades, the Weyer brothers always come back to why they started: a love for surfing—and for each other.
