Smell is the first sense that humans develop when they are born, and one Jacksonville small business is taking smell to a whole other level. 

Wick: A Candle Bar was founded by mother-son duo Kris and Hampton Barnes. They started with a location in San Marcos, then later expanded and opened another store in Jacksonville Beach.  

Wick offers candle-making events for teams, businesses, groups or even bridal parties. They even offer the option to reserve the entire space in either San Marcos or Jacksonville Beach. However, a person can also walk into the store and make their own candle, no reservation necessary.  

If you don’t want to make your own candle, Wick also sells premade candles that you can purchase. You can either buy it in the store or shop online. 

Wick is also not limited to candles. They also sell oils, reed diffusers, spray fragrances, hand soaps, lotions and sugar scrubs. This is what makes Wick so much more than a candle bar.
